Managing Your Account

This guide covers how to manage your AiToVid account and understand the token system.

Account Settings

To access your account settings, click on your profile icon in the top-right corner of the application and select "Account".

From the account settings page, you can view:

  • Profile Information: Your name, email address, and profile picture (managed through Auth0)
  • Account ID: Your unique account identifier
  • Token Balance: Your current available tokens

Token System

AiToVid uses a token-based system for project operations. Tokens are consumed for:

Project Creation

  • Cost: Varies based on the number of slides in your PowerPoint
  • Tokens are charged when you create a new project

Script Generation

  • First Generation: Free (included when creating a project)
  • Regeneration: Costs tokens per slide
  • You can regenerate scripts for individual slides or all slides at once

Audio Generation

  • First Generation: Free (for base projects)
  • Language Dubbing: 3 tokens per slide (billed when generated)
  • Regeneration: 3 tokens per slide for any project or variant
  • You can regenerate audio for individual slides or all slides at once

Script Translation (Language Dubbing)

  • Cost: 2 tokens per slide
  • Charged when a language variant is created
  • Covers translation of all scripts into the target language

Video Export

  • Cost: Free
  • Export your completed video as many times as needed

Viewing Token Balance

Your current token balance is displayed:

  • In the account settings page
  • In the top navigation bar
  • When creating a new project (to verify you have sufficient tokens)

Purchasing Tokens

When you need more tokens:

  1. Click the "Buy Credits" button in your account settings
  2. Select a token package
  3. Complete the payment through Stripe
  4. Your token balance will be updated immediately

Note: Token costs are shown before each operation so you always know what you're spending.
